Ernie Dease

Times Out’s Executive Director, Ernie Dease, became aware of a unique population which can have their quality of life significantly improved with a simple approach. Through building a simple relationship with a local gentleman with autism, Mr. Dease saw how a formal companionship can make positive improvements in the lives of the mentally challenged and their family. The gentleman’s family was so impressed with the results that they provided encouragement and financial support so that others might benefit. Thus, Times Out, Inc was formed as a 501(c)3 organization in order to provide trained companions to individual age 15 and older who are mentally challenged.
